What is dual certification?
Our UKAS accredited dual certification scheme brings fire resistance and security performance together on a single certificate. Certification can be given for doorsets that are eligible and comply with rules of both UKTC ensure schemes.
Manufacturers with doors that meet both criteria will benefit from a unique label and accompanying certificate - both contributing to the golden thread of safety information leading back to the UKTC ensure vault.
TWO SCHEMES, ONE CERTIFICATE, ONE LABEL
UKTC ensure uses a tamper-resistant label that provides clear performance information and a direct link to the verifiable evidence. This feature is seen on both the security and fire door certification schemes and is combined into a single label for dual-certified products.
